I am working with a map called mp_brest and there are several weapon crates next to a running wall.

When you jump on them you get stuck and your only option is to /kill or use your grenade to kill yourself.

I'd like to fix this or prevent it from being an ongoing issue. If there any way I can add a something to keep this from happening?

You could add a brush covering the area with the clip texture to prevent people from being able to get there.

Can you help understand how to do that or point me to a tutorial?

You do know I'm not working with the original map file right? I'm just trying to fix the issue in an existing map.

You can spawn a trigger. If they touch the trigger, hurt them so they move or teleport them to another place

Since its not your map, you would have to script it into your mod as something specifically for that map. Perhaps a trigger hurt, as was suggested. You could also make a trigger solid. Either that or simply dont worry about it. Next time that player wont try to get onto the crates again.

I'd like to try the trigger solid if I can find an example of the code. Is it possible to add it to the gsc file?

An example would be very helpful if you can point me to a tutorial or even give me a sample of the code so I can google it.

If you know who made the map and can contact him then he may just fix it internally. That would take a few minutes to do in Radiant, then compile and you are good to go. That is of course if you can find him and get him to do it.

Not likely these days with the map being made in 2006. I wish I could but most of these mappers have moved on.
