Hello I don't know how to create material for muzzleflash or fire effect i try so many settings but nothing changed.
Somebody ?

I was going to do a tutorial on this later today. I will explain very briefly what you have to do.

Make new material, set matieraltype as effect.

Set blendfuc to ADD

Cullface, set to NONE

Look at the texture, open it up in PAINT,PHOTOSHOP etc and count the rows and column
Row is a: * * * *
Column is :
*
*
*

Put thoes numbers in the rows and column of the texture atlas settings.

If it has no rows or columns, leave it at 1, an example is the ch_godray texture.


enable Z-FEATHERING


In the special settings, enable NOFOG.

Then compile and now use in the effect editor. If you cant find the material even by enabling "all materials", first put the image and material in a custom iwd.
