Not sure what im doing wrong here. Ive got a listen server set up for making and testing mods on coduo ,and would like to do the same for cod 2. Ive tried setting it up the same way but no matter what i put in target box server is not working. Ive tried other posts instructions but cant get it to work. Im pretty simple minded and need step by step if someone is willing to do so for me. Thanks alot i have gotten alot of help from this community and i really appreciate all the knowledge you guys have and are willing to share with less educated people like myself. Thanks.

I can test skins and sounds from the main page ,but cant test awe changes I have to have my own mod folder dont I? Oh well i can always rent a server and do it that way. Thanks anyway.

i made a HOMESERVER.cmd (.txt file and rename to .cmd) next to my cod2mp.exe with the following code:

start CoD2MP_s.exe +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game testmod +exec server.cfg +set developer 1
ping 172.0.0.1 -n 1 -w 3000
start CoD2MP_s.exe + connect 123.456.7.890

this starts your exe in dedi2 with the testmod-modfolder, waits for 3 seconds to initialise ur console and opens another cod2 to auto-connect to ur homeserver
you have to add your ip there.. you can delete the last 2 entries for debugging (+developer 1 for extended debug)
and my server.cfg :
