Hey guys!

I have create my own firefx and if i will load the fx it won't work.
If i use the normal torsofire is works fine but if i use my own .fx it don't will show anythink.

level._effect["spawnburn"] = loadfx("fx/fire/flames.efx");

Can you post the part of the code where u play the fx?
because that u wrote is only responsible to precache the effect i think. this will not play the fx for you

And the part of the playfx.
The normal torso_fire works but my created one not.

first of all you have this thing

Code:

level._effect["spawnburn"] = loadfx("fx/fire/character_torso_fire.efx"); 


that's ok
so you named it "spawnburn" so i guess u want to play this effect when a player spawns/respawns.
then to play the effect when someone spawns you have to do this at the spawnplayer() section:

Code:

playfx(level._effect["spawnburn"],self.origin);


but if the original fire effect which is in the game works,and your created effect doesnt work there is something wrong with your effect and not with the code

Ya. The Spawnflames are working with Torso.

But my own flame i have change the color to blue.
Now if i paste my flame into my mod and i will spawn the fx it don't work :/

Where is your fx placed( which folder) and how did you precache it and where?
