I wanted to let everyone know about a mod management resource i have been using. It is located at Fable's Forge, which offers modders the ability to use their project(mod) manager tool for free. Modders can organize, develop and collaborate on new or existing mods. The MDI also allows for file sharing, task assignment, and progress tracking. Its pretty cool and hily recommended.

Hopefully the usefulness of the resource will outweigh the fact that we are new to the forum and that we dont have the astounding average of the pace setting 2 posts per month over the Last 57 months.

the resource does seem a valuable tool - i am sure that Spik3d meant no disrespect, however there have - in the past - been...less than legitimate posts / scams ... or spam that we have had to investigate; which i am sure all he was referring to was the newness of your account is one of the telling signs.

are any particular genres of games; or any one game in particular that your tool / service has been developed for?

it does seem rather wide open in that sense - any restrictions that we should be made aware of?

Sorry for the defensiveness. Have known of and appreciated this website for a while now. It was one of the reasons we started Fable's Forge.

To answer your question, the mod development manager is open to any platform and for any game. In essence, its a free project manager geared toward the modding community. It requires a registration, because each developer's projects are kept private from just anybody viewing them. Mod Managers can ad team members manually or thru requests, set milestones and tasks, collaborate with other members, track progress and in general develop kick ass mods.

We will never charge for any of services though we may eventually sell a tshirt or two.

Personally, I have been in project management for almost 15 years. Been playing video games since I was 5 - im old(40l, and I wrote my first program on Commodore 64.

I started Fables Forge because I saw that there was a need for a tool where developers could organize and develop their mods. Developers who develop their modsare independent of Fable's Forge though we are working on several mods for Skyrim.

Sorry if my original post came across spammy just trying to help, for free, the community.
