1. That comment you are quoting also contained a few more negative remarks towards lilc in particular. Cant seem to find it anymore though.

2. Tally is wording it fine. He thinks you are an "idiot" or "idiots" (mind the quotes)

3. The destruction of this thread might or might not have been started by lilc. I tried to save it by creating an additional thread to talk about this, but it was locked shortly after by an "idiot" (as this word seems to have become appropriate enough for me to use...)

Also, in the rules you claim to "do not censor the posts made". What about changing words in posts? sh!t becomes poo-poo etc.

let me help you out...i believe that this is the thread that you are referring to.


you should allow Tally to defend himself and to speak for himself - rather than oh so quickly assuming he meant something that he may not have. If you read the statement in context then he very well could have been referring to himself - which I believe he surely must have been. I still await the apology and explanation/clarification from Tally to clear this all up.

Honestly IzNoGod (IMO), in light of past posts that you have made with disdain towards cheating of any sort, including aimbots, hacked servers and the like (in fact you diligently pointed them out to moderators and admin for action when you found them) - it seems oddly inappropriate for you to be seemingly supporting them now.


Two things:
1) Could you please show me where in the rules you have read that? The rules are posted here and haven't changed in over 4 years.
2) Most public forums have similar curse filters, again ours has been in place for well over 4 years and you are taking exception to it now it seems because? Are you attempting to split hairs to prove a point?

Let me make this abundantly clear: I do not support cheating of any kind.

I just do not think that the thread which started all this had any cheats in it.

The OP of that thread was using some cvar to create a wallhack-like effect. That cvar could have been written by either:
1) sv_cheats set to 1 on the server (server with cheating enabled is no cheating as everyone gets the same chances)
2) A serverside script, setting the (client) cvar to a specific value. This script can be used in a good and in a bad way: either to reward killstreaks, or to give one player an advantage over the other (the admin). I might be foolish to believe that the latter was not the case here and that either the admin was trying various things with cod2 (trying to mod), or was just experimenting with various killstreaks.
3) A cheating program that injects certain code into call of duty. In that case, the OP was cheating, but the injector program was the actual cheat.

I have NO reason whatsoever to believe either 1) or 3), as the OP specifically asked for a server-sided script. This means I believe he was trying to create a mod for the game.

This mod could have good AND bad parts: It could be used for a lot of good stuff (I remember when porting UAV to cod2 to give myself full UAV access while denying the other players on the server access. Was I cheating or was I just testing stuff?) or bad stuff.

Call me whatever you like but I honestly do not think that the OP tried to create a cheat. I believe he tried to create a mod.



Now, about the issue of lilc. I take this quote directly from the topic you are linking to, it is in exactly the same post as the "idiots" quote:

We predict that within a year and a half, this place will be such a Ghost Town, the owners will be forced to concede defeat and shut up shop. Disrespect the users at your own peril. And seeing as Stryder became an irrelevance to COD modding back in 2004, I don't see the modders coming here to gain his advice any time soon. So, where will they go? BTW Stryder - you seem to like definitions: why don't you look up the definition of the word "slander" and then compare that with the definition of the word "libel" and then turn round with all honesty and say you got that word right when you said I slandered you and several others. Here's a head's up for you: when it's written, it's libel; when it's spoken, it's slander. So, you're little attempt to impersonate Captain Smarticus is not as perfect as you'd like to think it is after all. Is it?

And talking of libel, it isn't libel if it happens to be true. Then, it becomes something called "truth". When I allegedly "libel" the pirates and the code thieves in this community, it isn't libel at all. It is the TRUTH.

Its funny I have been reading each thread when I am on my lunch break at work . . . and they are all in reference to the original poster, who had the intent to use it as a cheat from how I read the statement.

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE WITH THE ADMINISTRATORS on this issue. Mainly because I have to deal with hackers on a daily basis in United Offensive.

I understand where it can be a mod as well, but when the CONCEPT / IDEA/ THREAD is locked multiple times would it not be logical to not open another thread about it yet again?

I mean honestly that was pretty foolish in my opinion.

You guys wanna leave and not visit again thats all fine and dandy, its a free world and no one makes you visit this website.



I would also so it is generally not the best course of action to start calling admins names or talking bad about them, as admins do have a tendency to kick/ban first in general for that sort of attitude. In fact I do all the time because someone generally doesnt like a server rule I enforce. If I got to come off as a jerk to keep people in line, I have no problem as my clan and I pay for the server and you are a GUEST
