StrYdeR writes...Quote: Look - when somebody says "I am going to post an aimbot but I am going to call it something completely different because the site admins are stupid and won't realize what I am doing" they are still posting an aimbot.
look we have already proved to you guys enough time thats its not a cheat or hack and im not going back into it because its a waste of time to do that again if you guys are just to ignorant to understand what we ALL said and not just me.
secondly you didnt have to go about deleting my sentry gun tutorial because that was not a cheat or a hack, prove to me it was? i had a box aim at people and kill them, not a player aim at people and kill them and my code was legit and didnt go against forum rules. yeah you can see it was an aimbot then you agree with us that sentry guns are disguised aimbots except a model is doing the work for you. then write infinity ward and treyarch a letter how they implemented hacks and cheats into their game. now 1 more time stryder, im going to help matty write out a sentry gun code for his weekly script dumps, if thats deleted... im going to send you links on this very on website of other sentry gun codes and i want you to delete the links, if thats not done you are going to lose alot of your call of duty 2 community that is still left on this website to helps people we have all already talked and agreed you guys are taking this way to far. and we will all do what is necessary for you guys to understand we are not cheaters and we are not hackers. we help others, iv written multiple tutorials and even donated to this website to show good faith. but this is how you guys want to treat whats practically left to this call of duty 2 community by all means do so its just not a great option to do that. |

what the hell is happened to modsonline recently.

I get the distinct impression that they don't want COD modding to continue. Stryder, for example, thinks that anyone who even likes COD is - and I quote - "an idiot". By that extension, if we like to mod COD we are also "idiots".
Nice to be insulted for merely liking a game; even nicer to be insulted for trying to have a little bit of fun and modify it.
Ultimately, it's one rule for them, and one rule for everyone else. They can insult us - lilke Stryder called liltc a "douche" - but as soon as we do something they don't like, we get our posts deleted or in some cases, banned from the site. |

Okay, I understand. But I am still confused if I am allowed to post my tutorial? I planned to post my Sentry Gun and AC130 Tutorials. Both of these are AI.
The code inside this AI loops through players and targets them depending on how close they are, and if they are visible. The vector code and angle calculations could be re-used to work as an Aimbot, there is no denying that.
So what do I do? |

Welshy writes...Quote: We at MODSOnline are serious about NOT posting cheats or hacks of any kind on this site - those who feel they need to test those boundaries will have their site privileges removed.
Childish attempts at circumventing any of the site rules also will have the result of removal of site privileges.
In the original thread (the thread that spawned this one) - the poster admitted running a wall hack and was looking for an aimbot.
That particular thread is wholly based around the creation of an aimbot (cheat or hack) - and as such is in violation of the forum rules.
Depends which thread you're talking about. If you mean the one liltc started, it was not an "aimbot". It was a mod script. And mods can't be run on regular servers.
No one, and I repeat, no one is questioning that forums should have a "no cheats or hacks" rule. The issue is - do you consider mod auto aim scripts hacks or cheats? Because if you do, then you are wrong. Plain and simple. Mod GSC files cannot be run on stock servers. And as such they are not cheats.
If you guys can't even follow the simple logic of the protests that we are making about subsuming mod scripts for auto aiming for things like bots or turrets under the blanket term "cheats", then you really need to step back and let someone who actually understands what's being said take over. Because at the moment, you and Stryder just look ignorant for not understanding what's being said.
We need a definitive answer from Foyleman on this. Because as I see it, Welshy and Stryder simply don't understand the issues. |
