Hello,

I'm using PAM and in its start gametype I enabled killing but theres a problem. PAM has an anti shellshock feature and I want to have it in strat gametype but it doesn't work. Could someone please check whats wrong about it? I'm trying to fix it for several days now but still nothing.

Your post is unclear. Do you mean:

1) PAM has anti-shellshock but you want shellshock in ready-up mode?
2) PAM has anti-shellshock and you want to enable anti-shellshock in ready-up mode?

And finally, if PAM has anti-shellshock mode, can you enable/disable this mode, or does it ALWAYS block the shellshock from happening?

Have you tried to turn off shellshock with the right dvar?

set scr_allow_shellshock 0

The strat gametype already has the right calls to the shellshock file in maps\pam, and when that dvar is 0, shellshock is not run. In other words, its off.

in STRAT gametype I don't want to get a blury screen and slow movement when I damaged so probably it should be off then.

Yes I tried using that cvar but isn't working.

easy, check in /maps/pam/shellshock.gsc for strat type/ready up mode.

replace if(time) with
if(time && whatevercheckyoudotoseeifinreadyupmode)

If scr_allow_shellshock is 0, it doesn't run the code because the code clearly has a condition - if (level.allow_shellshock). level.allow_shellshock is assigned to the scr_allow_shellshock dvar. Hence, there is no need for additional checks.

I just tested this in gametype strat, and with scr_allow_shellshock set to 0, you don't get any shellshock. Check your rule sets. Make sure the dvar isn't being set to 1.
