Hello!

I created an xmodel_export, and xanim_export for my model with blender, than I converted into cod2.

But now I don't know how to put an animated model in my map. I created the animtree, but in my map's GSC the setAnim() function is an 'Unknown Function' when I launch the game :S

I think it's for SP, but is there a way to use animated models on my map in MP?

Thanks, Creep :)

I know for sure that you cannot have animated models in MP. I don't know for sure, but I don't think you can for SP either. Animations are only for characters and weapons.

For sure YOU CAN have animated models in SP.

If you don't believe, here is an example:

MP: static models can't be animated, this feature was added in mw2 for which we didn't get mod tools. You can, however, replace character and weapon animations.

One last option: vertex shaders can animate static models, the waving flags are an example for this. Using existing shaders isn't much of a problem, but creating custom animations for a certain model requires a lot of shader programming experience.

SP has setanim* functions available throughout the cod series.
