Before I start i want to thank all of these guys who replied and helped me solve all of my questons and problems.Thank you.

As you have notised there is a very usefull animation in cod 4 that has been used in many custon missions and it is very difficult for me to accomplish. it is though really nessassery.
the animation in the 1st mission ACT 3 that griggs is sitting as a prisoner and then being released...

What i actually want to achieve is to relate the animation of a sitting ally character with his hands tied and have an objective to untie him. when the trigger of the untie will be activated he will stand up and take his weapon. There are 3 animations in the raw/xanim foilder for this issue.

1-grigsby_rescue
2-grigsby_rescue_idle
3-grigsby_rescue_react

What i know till now is to make a basic objective( player activates a trigger) [biggrin]

and use a simple animation.
nothing complex for example having a guy sleeping in a chair and when shot react .(i can not do that)[ohwell]

what i ask is to teach me a way of using this animation compared with objective .

I dont understand what do you exactly want
for the animations to play after the objective???

in the mission "Ultimatum" or whatever it is called your first mission is to cut griggs loose. Midwhile griggs is "using" an animation of a sitting guy with his hands tied. your objective is to untie him.Then he plays and animation that he stands up and picking up his wep.
What i want
1: Have an ally doing the animation sitting on a chair , prisoned and so on...
2:And corelate the standing up/ untied animation with the objective as the mission.(the #2animation is triggered after the obj is done)

This animation is also seen in a custom COD4 sp map "Weapons free" (parking_lot.ff) and it is setted up exacly as i want. ( The developer does not reply ill try again)

Try using this:
self SetAnim( %grigsby_rescue_idle, 1, 2, 3);
try putting it after he spawns or somewhere in your gsc.
1 = Goal weight of this animation. Defaults to 1.0.

Its quite easy. I will include a .map file for you to use as a reference also. I just don't wanna type it all out. Im too lazy.
