Well, I've started a new map, and have been constantly getting that annoying red tint that makes my map look like it came from hell. So, I compiled reflections on my map, and still the red tint. Placed reflection probes as well. Checked the BSP, and there was no leakfile. I also have the lightgrid volume in place. It's almost like my mod tools got altered somehow, and the compile reflections does not work. It now gives me an error after it's finished saying "german_shepherd_death_front" not defined in multiplayer. Whenever I compile a new map, the same happens as well. Could some of my files have been altered? I don't know what's going on here

Like I said, I thought I had everything... I've seen other topics on this a thousand times with the leaks, no reflection probes, or no LG volume. Am I missing something?

Double check there is no vision file being called in your .gsc or if you do have one check the color values. I had a green map once, tried everything and turned out to be a vision file -_-

Do you have any static models in your map? Model origins are used when compiling light if you haven't used a .grid

Lighting seems to compile very fast which means you either have a small map, fast computer or problem

Okay, I think I'm getting somewhere. I believe that my compiler for reflections is malfunctioning now, because I started making a ton of test maps with the proper textures and light grids, and indeed, the red tint is back. Probably need to reinstall mod tools, or the game itself. On the other hand, I can just compile the BSP since I still have some maps with reflections that I compiled a long time ago before this error started. Still, I hate how there are a ton of things with these tools that need to be in place, and if something goes wrong, it's not always going to tell you.

Still, what does the german_shepherd_death_front not defined error mean? What is that associated with?
