Okay, so I've been working on my map for quite a few months now. It took a while, because I tried to make everything with a high level of detail. Today, while compiling the BSP on the updated version of the map, it suddenly finished within 5 minutes or so. Usually, when compiling light, it takes a good 30-40 minutes. So, I recompiled, and it does the same thing.
When I started up the map, none of the changes I made today had saved. There was absolutely nothing in the compile log, either. No errors, no models/prefabs without entities, no reflection probes in solid... Everything looks normal, except for the fact that none of the light compiles. What could this be? It's driving me insane. I hope this doesn't have to do with a brush limit, because I've got close to 28,000 brushes.

Ahh, I was hoping to avoid that because the code post was all messed up, but I fixed it.

Looks like it didn't even get to compiling the light, even though the compile light box is checked.

Try removing all the non-stock files from the MAIN folder before compiling.

Ahh.. well, I did remove all of the files except for the non stock ones, and it didn't work at all. I've been compiling maps with all of those non-stock files in the main folder for months now, and nothing has really gone wrong. I don't think that's the problem.

I've had this problem a lot of times before. Try saving the map with a different name and re compiling. That did it for me every time.

Tried that. Same effect. Don't know what could be doing this. Is the texture memory overloaded or something?

Are you sure this is entire compile log? I know this happens when *.bsp file is not created which is logical, so it uses the old one. Try removing it from your maps/mp folder and see if it appears after compile process or not.

It might be your skybox. I got that problem when I had 2 skyboxes. Try re making all your lighting and skybox

Found it. It was apparently the error at the end of the bsp compile log that said one of my iwi files was not a "pc iwi" image or something like that. So, I removed it from my map. After about 5 days of trying to make a new map and causing a bad error with the reflection compile, I finally found it. Can't believe I overlooked that in the log... Lesson is, if your map isn't compiling light at all, perhaps it has something to do with the textures. Never knew one iwi image could do that, but ok..
