When I tried to make the necessary mp_deathmatch spawn and intermission, I couldn't. When I right-clicked on the screen and went to the mp sub-level, all there was in there was target_location. What happened here and how can I fix this?

to add a deathmatch spawn point and intermission just click

right click in the grid one

and go to mp and then up the top click on deathmatch_spawn then in your map you will see a highlighted red sqaure now throw this in where you want to spawn from make it so the box is a little bit of the ground and at least the same from any walls because you dont want to spawn into the ground or wall and not move no where and then right click in 2d window and select mp then scroll to deathmatch_intermission

and this will bring up a pink box now put this pink box where you want the camera view to show when you enter the game

i think you must be clicking on the wrong screen try that

The above post is how to do it but not how to solve the missing menu problems.

These problems usually indicate a mod in your Main directory. remove ALL mods from your Main directory before mapping, it will save problems later.

You were right. Thanks. It was all of the MODS I had recieved. Note to myself: Never map and get MODS at the same time.

well that was assuming that you had done the right thing that everyone tells you and never have maps and mods in yoour folder while mapping
