In 3ds Max I was looking at some models from another game, and I saw that you can have lights with the model, can I do this with COD?

Lets say I have a blue ball model, I attach a light to it in 3ds max and when players pick it up, a blue light will be around the player?

That is just an example.

No, lighting has to be done with either...

A.) FX dynamic light which won't cast shadows
B.) Dynamic Light attached to the model in which case you can only have one in a single area

You mean make a model in 3ds Max that has a light attached to it in Max and then convert it to COD so when the player picks it up in COD they have a blue light around them? Thats not possible with that method, all lighting has to be done in Radiant you are allowed 1 dynamic light per level with cod so you could target the light and then call it in a script
