OK, saw the movie and I really enjoyed it. When going in to see this movie, you have to go in knowing you are there to have fun. This is not a theatrical masterpiece. This is not a film that will win any awards. You are going in to see a physical interpretation of the game. Sure, the story line is not exactly the same. Think of it this way.... This is a mod for Doom III. The mod just happens to be on the big screen. Go in with that attitude, and you will enjoy it.

I suppose you are right there Foyleman. I did enjoy the movie just as much as I enjoyed the game. A few things I didn't like about the movie was the Rock and the excessive cussing/swearing. There were some places where it seemed that they overdid it a bit, and the Rock is most definately NOT my favorite actor. But, over-all I think it actually was a pretty good movie. I was just tired and sick when I went to see it. I would like to see it again sometime maybe when it comes out on DvD.
