i get that and thats it..... wen i was lookin for help most of the other ones had bunches of stuff in them so sumthin is obviously rong.... i just hav no idea wat

Um... Why did you install the codtools to your my documents folder??? the cod tools needs to be in the Call of Duty\main\ folder. and its a good idea to save your map files in the Call of Duty\main\maps folder. try that and see if it doesnt remedy your problem.

the cod tools are in my cod file wich is in my documents file..... and my maps are in my maps folder....
but i just thot that maybe my cod file needs to b called Call of Duty.....
hmmmmmm idk ill try that but any other input would b apreciated

yea that was the problem... i had the filethat held all the files named cod instead of Call of Duty... but if i want to pla cod i hav to hav that file named cod so every time i want to compile i hav to change the file name then change it bak wen im done

Just altrer your shortcut to point to the Call of Duty folder instead of the CoD one.

Rightclick on your shortcut -> Properties and alter the target line.

i dont use a short cut, either i use my programs menu or i just put the disk in... but either way it will try to load then tell em teh file isnt on my computer beacause its looking for cod and i had it named Call of Duty so taht i could compile

Just rename the CoD folder to "Call of Duty"... and then in your "Call of Duty" folder, rightclick on the CoDMP icon and select Send to -> Desktop.

This creates a shortcut to ...Call of Duty/CoDMP.exe... that should work
