Hi Andy you could be sure to have a pretty big debate! lolll... This was an old post but I think it's a good thing that someone post on it ( I don't need to bump it loll ) because I think that what I wrote as suggestions was and are importants. Not only for the Swasticas but also for map's names and the most important of it, the readme.txt file.

Like I said in the original post, mappers can look at Bismarck(MTL) to see what RakeKniven did to replce the originals glags and signs. This is really good and the design and colors are kept.

For as far I know, a swastika is a Hindu symbol for Reincarnation. Hitler used the symbol just because it's a strong symbol, and because he thought that Germans were reincarnations of an old race that conquered some land near India..

I think that it was put at part of a treaty at the end of the war. Which was made by the allies, so we said that there not aloud any swastica's.

but think was my mum that told me that so.....

I can definitely see why these symbols of hate are legislated against and I sincerely hope that any ******s idiotic enough to be goosestepping and doing the Nazi salute while they're enjoying their bratwurst and bier at the World Cup are slapped up sharp and deported back whence they came.

But surely banning the use of swastikas in what is supposed to be a historical reenactment is taking it too far? Do they blur the Nazi symbols in historical footage? Give Hitler a Groucho Marx moustache? Put a wig on Himmler? If we erase these things too much we are in danger of forgetting the power they had.

Just my tuppeny's worth.

here here, if thats how u spell it, hey in the single player campaign what do the use?? cant remember, and cant b bothered to go on the campaign and check myself. Do they use just the red cross thingy with a eagle in it.

Hy! Can somebody help me? How can I make a *.map file from my *.bsp file? Because the Radiant doesn't wanna read my *.map file and I have an older good *.bsp file. Please help somebody. Thanks.
