Ok my friends i need your help concerning this "utility".How can i add in the SP map in cod 4 these so called glowing Modern text in the beginning of the map???

EXAMPLE:WATCH THE IMAGE ABOVE [biggrin]

Add these in your main function before the maps\_load::main();

precachestring (&"INTRO_1"); 	
precachestring (&"INTRO_2"); 
precachestring (&"INTRO_3"); 	
precachestring (&"INTRO_4"); 
precachestring (&"INTRO_5");


Add this line after the maps\_load::main();

Where YOURMAPNAME is the name of your map

In your mapname.str file put these lines

It says that there is a bad syntax.

These lines will be with "{" and "}"
and tab in the beginning or just as they are???

and what about the spaces in the end of the 1st and the 3d?? [confused]

Sorry, may bad. There should be no spaces in precachestrings.
It should be as follows:

I think that you may need a .str file. If you dont have one, create a folder named 'localizedstrings' in
the 'raw' folder and make a 'yourmapname.str' file in the localizedstrings folder and copy this. (edit it to suit yourself)

VERSION "1"
CONFIG "C:\trees\cod3\cod3\bin\StringEd.cfg"
FILENOTES ""

REFERENCE INTROSCREEN_LINE_1
LANG_ENGLISH "'Johnno Was Here'"

REFERENCE INTROSCREEN_LINE_2
LANG_ENGLISH "Monday - 08:14:[{FAKE_INTRO_SECONDS:25}]"

i am aware of str and i made one as you said.(with my maps clues) But there are not any letters apearing.this maybe is from a gsc malfunctionor a lack of something.
here is my gsc.
