I don't believe it is possible to take an animation made for Maya 8.0 or later and make it backwardly compatible with a previous version of Maya. COD2 used Maya 6.0 and the exporter is very particular about you using only that version. So, I don't see this working for COD2.

Hmm okay, the only way you said to port animations is to change the version number?

Guys, just a little update
I cannot do anything besides scripting, so most ideas will have to be workable scriptwise.

Also: I reinstalled my cod2 today due to profile troubles. While doing this i saved my cod4mod, but i forgot to save the zom.gsc file.

Without any backups and on an ssd with trim enabled, its impossible to get it back. Im back to square one now, and have to redo everything in the zom.gsc.

Ideas are still welcome, but porting stuff from any other game that is not just script is basically impossible for me without any help (=you doing it for me)
