I recently got back into my map making, havent touched the editor in about a year or so. And now when I try to play my map typing devmap game/mp/d3refrag it always trys to load it but crashes giving me an unexpected error. Maybee im not doing something right, its been hella long since I have messed with the editor.

well did u bsp it to compile it... also make sure there are no entitys that need an atribute or something small things can mess it up also... save ur map to folder c:\doom3\base\maps so when u want to try it bsp it and type ~ in the doom 3 main menu then type....... map testmap....... thatll load it w/o havign to tpe a long ass line just to test it"""""" testmap is an example of course""""""""" buti havent done much mappin latley either i will prob start up again since i fiannly got an upgrade for my p :)

Thx for replying and trying to help me out with this. Well i tried all that you said. And I figure it maybee somthing wrong with my instalation with doom. Even making a very simple map with just one room one light and a playerstart it still crashes. oh well :(

Found out the culprit. I was installing the Emz 1.1 mod in the base dir when its supposed to be installed in the Emz folder or D3xp folder....DOH!
