Hello all! I am a slightly new user to 3D model creation and I just recently started making maps for Call of Duty 2. For the experts in 3D designing, can someone explain to me in dummy terms how to export a project from a 3D application into radiant so that the texture files show up ingame?

I am currently using Cinema4D and there a plenty of export options like .obj, but I am not sure what to do with the file after I export it. Is there something I have to do with UV mapping so that CoD2 Radiant can read the textures in the app and ingame?

If I could get some help or a quick tutorial, that would be greatly appreciated!

the official way is to use Maya + CoD modtools maya plugin

but you can also use free Blender + Blender-CoD addon:
