Hi i am new to mapping and i am making trap's for brax's deathrun mod. I am trying to make my hammer's knock the player's off the side without killing them but it just keeps passing across them, here is a video of what it dose.

There classname is "script_brushmodel" and i use rotateRoll() on a script_origin with the hammers linked to it.

a script brushmodel has no collision.

the solution would be to either create a collision file or move the player via script

What i did was link a solid brush to a script_origin and rotated the script_origin, thats was what made it non-solid.

So to fix the problem i just created new hammers with brush's and selected all the parts of the hammer and right click script/brushmodel then pressed n with all the parts selected and gave them a targetname, then rotated it useing the targetname.

Yeah, I was going to say, a script_brushmodel, by default has "collision". Maybe in earlier versions of COD it did not, but COD4 has collision for a script_brushmodel. Just to clarify.

This is why in the first post I was wondering myself how IELIITEMODZX managed to get the player to ghost through those hammers. I figured you made them non-colliding, which wouldn't make sense but I see how you originally did it, which did not work.
