hey guys my best friend just got a computer and he got cod 1.3 when i downloaded the 1.5 patch for him and tried to play
we kept getting kicked via punkbuster for no packet flow so i opened the cod folder and to find that there is not a pb folder at all. when i searched the web for a pb download the only thing i could find were the manual updates. someone told me
that i could copy mine and give it to him but im worried that might get us kicked for duplicate pb guides if anyone knows what needs to be done to fix this please let me know and just so you know ive tried to reinstall the patch even got it from a different site but ended up with the same problem

The 1.4 patch contains PB. So have him update to 1.4 first and THEN to 1.5.

Maybe he has some bad ass mod or started screwing 'round with some scripts?
Patch 1.5 works fine at EVERYBODY I know...
Maybe some bad ass very agressive anti spam/cookie/tracker program which prevents CoD from running normaly cause it's indentified as dangerious?
Reinstalling software will often repair 99.9% of the errors, tried that?

i really doubt any of that since his comp is only like 2wks old now, and the first time i tried to download the patch for him it was only 2-3 hrs old, and as long as pb not running on a server it plays fine he has no trouble with 1.3 either. my call of duty game is 1.3 and i upgraded to 1.5 without any problems at all this is why im so confused it really sucks ive been waiting for him to be able to get on our server and play for awhile when he got his comp i was like sweet ill set you up this will be easy and now i have to hear all his smartarse remarks about how i supposed to know what im doing lol

were doing the 1.4 thing as we speak so ill let you know how that goes

hey man

you have to go thru and upload 2 patches the small 1.5 and then a large 15. i have both and they work fine for me so look for the 2 1.5 patch and a 15.

Why you would do that? takes only time, just download the 1.5 patch from a reliable source...

Maybe he has an corrupted 1.5 patch from some infected source?
Try to reinstall the game and to everything anew with a good 1.5 source, don't use all the other patch crap

that was the first thing i thought of I tried getting the patch from 3-4 different places and it still wouldn't install pb.
I went ahead and copied my pb folder sent it to him he put it in his cod folder and the problem was solved.
Im still not sure what caused the problem if i had to guess i would say it was just a security feature on his comp that wouldn't let it install.
