Hello mappers,
I am doing the final tests for the modtools helper for call of duty - Modern Warfare and it is looking good.

The Modtools helper will do the complete scripting for your map including.

- Effects
- Sounds
- Loadscreen
- Minimap
- IWD

The last test are needed to make sure the program will work in both windows 7 / vista / xp systems both 32 and 64 bits.

thanks, I will make an instruction video on youtube and some more information.
Last additions that i made was making the .map file including chosen worldspawn setttings and beeing able to change them on a mouseclick.
And the vision file is made with chosen settings.
Also the .ff load.ff and .iwd are moved to your usermaps directory and the mapname directory is created aswell. So that if you load your map no a server you will not
have to download your own map.

Thinking this will make it complete.

So first release will be somewhere this week, will let you know here where and when.

Althought I am still playing with the idea to integrate some ftp commands so that the map can be uploaded to any server it will have to wait for another day and could be included in the future.

The modtools helper for cod waw will also be updated at the same day.

Hi I tested the beta version of the mod tool helper 64bit I built a basic cod4 map using the tools. I compiled it and ran around on it. I would class my self as a noob mapper all I can say is this program is the dogs bollocks. Down load it now. A great job Bram thanks.

A small video tutorial can now be found.

I will give it try for you (do not like registering :@) ;) but wouldn't it be a good idea to put the compile part in your program too?!

P.s. where did you write your program in? C# ?!

sorry to see your not register for a free program.
I am sure there will be no need for you to use the program but am also sure that new or starting mappers will find it very easy and they will actually only need to focus on radient in the beginning.

Since writing the first modtools helper for call of duty - world at war and now the modtools helper for Call of Duty - Modern Warfare seen that there will always be developments or more questions from the community for more options. So to be able to make that available it needed to be stored in a central place so people can keep track of the development.
