i maked a pk3 file of my map and I tested it on a own hosted server in cod multyplayer... the map worked... but then I put it on my own public gameserver and it doesn't want to load the map.... every time I try to switch it to my map the server goes down... :( I am very sure that I uploaded my map good.... or maby not... Plz help me!!!!!!!!! I am very unhappy noe :([banghead]

does the server run under Linux? if so, make sure you didn't use any capital letters in your map name.

Like The_Caretaker said, make sure you have no capital letters. There is a large scale problem with custom maps crashing Linux servers. From what I am aware, there is no known fix, so we can only assume that it is the configuration of the game itself.

Just check for things like a mix of lower and upper case charcters as entities key and values.

Hello, 'm a friend of Kills so, but the map won't work, there is a singleplayer spawn in the map, is that maby the problem?
Im so angry now men! That the map won't work [banghead][banghead][banghead]

Please help me!

Well if it is multiplayer, then it shoouldn't have anything like singleplayer spawns, pathnodes, negotiation_begin/end.

Is the map running when you test it locally?

yeah it is a multiplayer map but I use /codUOmaker to compile and they say there is a singleplayer spawn so, but the map works if I load it in Call of Duty here so, but on our public gameserver It won't work, the server crasht.

Can you post over you compile log please? Just do a BSP and VIS compile, this could give us an idea of whther it is a mapping error.

Problems -

1. WARNING: node without a volume
node has 21 tiny portals
node reference point -221.38 -352.33 473.00

A Go to misc/go to position and enter the ref number to find out this problem.

2. Entity 0, Brush 2603: duplicate plane

A. Redo these brushes as they are causing probs for ya ( not fatal tho).

3. Couldn't derive lightmap <-> vertex equations for poly at (-665.5, -563.5, 706.3
33)

A. Not fatal either but you might wanna sort these at some point.

4. Custom pk3s

A. Move all custom files to a temp file while mapping
