In another sign of the convergence of popular video games and movies, Microsoft has announced that film director Peter Jackson will be the executive producer of its upcoming ``Halo'' movie.

I just found this out two days ago. Apparently its being made here in NZ in Wellington. This is the same city where many scenes from the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy were shot. I image alot of it will be sets and CGI.

Apparently it is in all the newspapers over here. I have family in Wellington this weekend so will ask them to bring some paper clippings back (I personally don't normally read newspapers but the missus does).

Might make for some interesting reading?!

Thats strange because i was told today that the film was being help made by the director of lord of the rings

Ahh does this mean we can expect the cast to be entirely white like the LOTR movies?

well maybe the guy who wrote the book, which the film was based on, made all the characters white.

besides wots wrong with white any way, ya would'nt see us complaining if a film had no whites in it, pffff
