I bought an International version on ebay from a reputabale guy. I have bough other games from him as well.

HL2 though has a problem though when it come to the AI.

It's not always enabled. Sometimes(mostly) the characters act as if I'm not around and consquently they don't do anything. I recall being able to put commands in config files so the command is applied evertime the game starts. This might help. Any ideas which cfg it might be in or the syntax?

I know it's asking alot but I've failed at it.

Ever gone to get something fixed and they tell you it's the wachit? Well, when they do I wonder what made the wachit go bad.

It was the ai that wasn't working but it was caused by the nodes needing rebuilding all the time. I searched that aspect and found if I added:

ai_norebuildgraph "1"

to the config.cfg the ai problem was solved.

I post so someone looking for ai_disable might find this.
