Ok so i have kinda got back into modding and mapping.

I have been making a mod and on some maps get the out of memory error

COD5 seems to have a hunk limit of 128.1 Mb ( according to /meminfo )

After all the stock mp stuff this leaves about 85 Mb for map & mod (
71.8 free + the 13.5 from ui_mp that isnt loaded when a map runs = 85 Mb ish )

My mod is currently 9.0 Mb ( has a lot of custom weapon models / sounds ). My mates map is 76.8 Mb ( its a large map ) this makes a total 85.8 MB - doh!

Now COD4 dosnt have a com_hunkMegs cmd ( dont know whos stupid idea it was to not add it in to the engine, this person needs to be shot )

Anyone know of any way of increasing hunks in COD4 or is it just another one of the annoying limits of the cod4 engine?

Yes i know one answer is to decrease the size of the map / mod, please do not suggest this as we are already doing so.
