I have been looking for ways to move in the editor smoke or geotrails so I can see how it looks without compiling it every time. The only thing I could find was in the playback settings but it doesnt do anything. Is there something I am missing? Thx.

edit: nm, for testing I gave it velocity even tho it shouldnt be there, just to get a feel for it. So at least I can see why I dont like it. [casanova]

ya there's a dialog hidden in a menu which should move geotrails, but apprently never worked (either did nothing for me or crashed effectsed)

velocity is the only option i guess

Wouldnt be the first time something didnt work. [tongue]

After lots of tests velocity will work ok for now and speeds things up considerably. Being able to look at it in the editor and changing things around in real time helped me understand geotrails a little better.
