I'm new to mapping I extracted the modtools file to my COD4 folder but I get an application error that says "The application failed to initiaalize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate application." When I try to run the COD4CompileTools.exe file. The CoD4Radiant.exe file does work tho and I can start creating maps.but now I'm not sure what to do. I'm running Win XP P4 3.0GHz 2GB ram.

u need to install the .NET framework (4.0 should be fine) and Visual C++ 2005/2008 redistributable files

for some reason .net 4.0 didn't work so i went with .net 2.0 and now it's working. thanks.
