I should have posted it in the show notes... but here it is instead.

Shortly after the recording of the episode, Wyatt did make a video tutorial about roofs. Check it out: Here

I enjoy the bloopers at the end but this time there weren't any bloopers. What could we do? lol.

We went with 'lesson of the week' otherwise Stryder might sue us. Stryder has the rights to 'tip of the week' in this show. Our hands were tied.

I was hoping to hear... "Stryders, no, ffs! Wyatts tip of the week, Tip of the week".

Again an amazing Podcast and I can't believe you guys have made it so far without dying. Great research.

Thanks again!

One of the great things about the internet is you can do pretty much anything anonymously...

Not being a sound person, I have not idea if this can easily been done. With the broadcast, can bookmarks be placed at the begining of each new topic? Bit like selecting a scene in a dvd but in the sound broadcast?

This way it wouldn't matter how long a broadcast is, we could jump straight to the topic of interest - or if we have only listened to part of the broadcast, will return later. We can easil find where we were up.

Maybe when you post that the latest Modsonair Episode is available. Next to the topics covered, you also place the time indicating where in the broadcast each subject starts.

x 2:20 y 4:15 z 7:56 etc

Keep up the good work. This is a great addition to the mod community.

I supose the only way of doing that would be like a CD. Could be possible but probably alot more work.

I would back it anyhow :)

CD I think would be too much work for you guys. Easier to just download [wink] - Considering how much time is allready put into each episode.

This is what would be eaasiest. When you post episode details, include timeframe where that subject starts.

Below is part of the description for the episode 10. I've just added in random times, for information sake.

TIMES BELOW NOT REAL
We chat with Wyatt Earp, foyleman and PleaseMYOB about We chat with foyleman, 2:40 Wyatt_Earp and PleaseMYOB about DVDShrink website back online, Shrinkto5 might be a better choice, 4:40 Windows Vista is a hardware hog, 5:50 Microsoft buys into ViOP, 6:70 Skype gets into cell phones

Either way - I'll still be downloading, listening [rocking]

This is something I have thought of, but it is alot more work. As I go through the audio I edit small spots here and there. This means that if I edit something early in the recording, the times would change later in the recording. I would have to listen through the enter recording an additional time in order to note each of the topic times.

How about someone else here takes that on? They listen to the show when it's released and then posts the times in the forums here.

read on if you want me to bore you with the details....

As it stands without doing this, editing takes about 250% times the length of the recording. Show time breaks down to:
- research and prep for the show: 2-4 hours
- recording: let's say the show is one hour long. that's 1.5 hours of time to record the episode of course it always seems to go 2 hours. lol
- editing: 2.5 hours (1 hour times 250%)
- distribution: 1 hour (compile, compress, tag, create the xml feed)

So an hour show takes as little as 6 hours of work a week without going back and marking each topic with a time.
