In the latest of a string of state-specific legislation related to video games, Michigan Governor Jennifer M. Granholm has announced that she will sign legislation later this week that will make the sale or rental of mature or adult-rated video games to children illegal. The new law applies to children age 17 and younger, and will take effect on December 1, 2005. Continued here...

Without actually reading the article .. well it already seems pretty "stupid". "sale or rental of mature or adult-rated video games to children illegal" Are they serious? Do they know what they are doing? Maybe it is just me but a child buying an adult film was illegal anyway, why don't they say "supply" therefor that makes the parent at fualt if they buy age-certificated video games for minors. All seems a bit "loopy" to me.
