Well, I payed for the game, this was originally in the mod tools package, then they took out.
So I am entitled to the map. |

yeah you only payed for the game. the developers were nice enough to give you mod tools to begin with. you're not entitled to poo-poo... and if you think so then sue them you're an idiot and go make the map your self. |

Great idea, how do you think I am supposed to make the map if I cant have any type of references?
Yes I am entitled to the map, if the someone gave you something, they don't have a right to take it back. They gave me the map, they don't have a right to take it back, so they took it without my knowledge, I want it back. Anyways I payed for the mod tools. Since you have to buy the game to have access to the mod tools, I payed for the tools.

SparkyMcSparks writes...Quote: How exactly are you going to use a compiled D3DBSP file for reference? There are 54 other D3DBSPs available in the stock game in FastFiles for you to use as "reference".
There is no map editor for Black Ops either, why would you need a reference for a game without an editor.
How I can use a d3dbsp from reference is that I can play the map and try to remake the map for a different game.
I can also get the .map file using different techniques, I cant do this for a d3dbsp file in a fast file since it is, at this time, not rechieveable.
I can do it for a regular d3dbsp file, but cant do it for a d3dbsp file in a fast file.
FYI, This map wasnt decompiled to get the d3dbsp file, so I do not know why people keep bring up that it was decompiled.
Lastly, Do not go around decompiling peoples D3DBSP without asking first, regretfully I do not know who created this map, so I don't have anyone to ask, so I will be using my techniques to get a .map file.
Anyways, lock the thread, I already have the file :P

Activision created / owns the game materials.
Here is the contact info taken from a CoD manual so you do have someone to ask now about decompilling parts of their program:
Quote: If you have any questions concerning this license, you may contact Activision at 3100 Ocean Park Boulevard, Santa Monica, California 90405,USA, (310) 255-2000, Attn. Business and Legal Affairs, legalaffairs@activision.com. |
