Ok hey all, havent dont this in a while and never before on windows 7 x64 Im having some issues with the cod4 asset manager. Its not creating any materials. Im making a 2d material for use with an hud element image is a dds file in cod4/texture_assets. ( see attached image for settings ) I save the gdt file in cod4/source_data and then hit convert. The cmd runs and the small black screen flashes and says conversion done. ( normally it should say converting bla bla done but it dosnt and then hit any key to continue ) No material, or iwi files are created Any one havy any ideas what i might be doing wrong or why it isnt working? Thanks in advance AP

I had this happen before but don't quite remember how I fixed it. I think it has something to do with the Size of the image, that the converter doesn't like, or the way the .dds was created. Meaning, how it was saved. Check the size of your image and make sure it follows the rules on dimensions. Check the .dds creation and make sure it is 100% correct with other tutorials. I know it's a simple fix, because I felt stupid after I figured out what was happening.

Thanks in advance AP Turn off User Account Control. It stops .BAT files running in the background without authorization (which the mod tools use). Even if you have administrator permissions set, it often gets in the way of using COD4/WaW mod tools properly. BTW- good to see you back modding again
