Hey,

I've read a tutorial on how to make custom textures (http://modsonline.com/Tutorials-read-652.html), I downloaded some sky textures somewhere, put them in main map, but they aren't appearing in Cod Radiant.

I've searched already, but can't find anything about this problem, how can I fix this?

hi

skies are a different breed of textures, so general ideas like in that tutorial won't work.

1. first of all, a skybox consists of 6 sides, 6 sky textures, respectively:
skyname_bk.tga (back)
skyname_dn.tga (bottom)
skyname_ft.tga (front)
skyname_lf.tga (left)
skyname_rt.tga (right)
skyname_up.tga (top)

they are 24 tga's, and you should put them into the Main\env directory (pak5.pk3 has them)

2. secondly, a so called .shader file describes the sky, a skyname.shader should be put into Main\scripts. I suggest you to extract a factory default shader and edit it as you wish (also pak5.pk3, files like truckride.shader consist what you are looking for)
