Yes, unfortunately it isn't just you.. And DEVIL you know what it's like being a moerator too.. As soon as you log on to msn BAM at least 10 people try and ask you to help them.. And in this sense as someone else mentioned, its here, fix it.. and then every 5 minutes, is it fixed yet, is it fixed yet.. Well basically I am here to tell those that keep doing this to me, no more.. Especially when I have even posted that I am taking time away from it all.. I pop in every now and again and I am getting VERY annoyed with people who continuously spam in the forums over and over asking the same questions over and over.. We have tried everything to try and get people to use the search tool before posting but never happens.. If you are getting sick of it then do as I do and just ignore them and if the keep spamming they will be warned and if continued banned.. And as for those who want people to build them prefabs over and over to basically build their map.. BITE YOUR LIP MADCROW..

im sick and tired of logging onto this fine mappers/modders site and seeing the top posts being some n00b who cant be buggered learning to map for himself/herself.

I know many mappers who have spent countless hours learning the skills of mapping and building prefabs, and to me it is just plain rude coming on here asking people to make you something because yours looks stupid...then another person posts and ask's poor TIM to make him a prefab because he made someone else one.

For heavens sake people get off your butt, read the tutorials and watch Wyatt's videos and map something for yourself. Start simple and go from there.

Doing it yourself will give you ALOT more satisfaction.

I agree ! (Although, I did ask a few questions in the beginning after many hours sat reading the tuts)

As I see it, anyone who can't be bothered to read and download / watch the tut's, can't be that serious about mapping. If you want to make maps over and over again you need to know what the hell you are doing. By asking someone to do it for you is just silly, how will you ever know what the hell to do.

There are enough prefabs in the download section for you to take to bits, alter or basically just have a look at.

You know what will come next ..

"Can some one make me a prefab, basically it needs to have a beach, a town and a few houses, the odd tank here and there. Oh and dont forget to put in the worldspawn setting, Thanks in advance !"

mapping questions are fine, but asking people to do the work for you is disgusting and rude.
