Hey,

Could you remove my latest post from my own latest post list? Because after i have posted, the topic i posted in last will stay "unread" for me because i posted in there last... i might not have read that post yet, but i wrote it, which is kinda similar.

Thanks.

The latest post list is not a list of unread posts. It is a list of posts since your last visit. Your new post is one of them and to remove that one post from the list would actually put undo stress on the database when compiling that list. Or at least that's how I remember it.

Let me look into it further for you and see if it can be implemented while still keeping things running smoothly.

I dont know if you changed it yet, or if it has anything to do with the SOPA black banner over every page, but modsonline now loads very slow for me (like thick poo in a funnel at minus ten degrees Celsius)

@IzNoGoD

Yes, same for me. The SOPA javascript seems to be increasing my load time a drastic amount.. Unless there is another cause

Just came up with a possible fix for this:

After posting, check if other people have posted while you were posting. If so, keep it the way it is now.

If not, set the last visit time to the time you posted+1millisec.

Should do the trick in 99% of all cases.
