Difficult on to answer !

Depends how fluant you are with radiant and also if you know what your map is intended to look like.

My map has taken several months to complete and I'm still playing around with it.

Also depends wether you can spend all day at it, I work most days so only get around 3 - 4 hours after work.

Some mapmakers deliver a great map in a couple of weeks, some mappers make lousy maps and take half a year making them.

most good maps that the mapers come up with probly are never gonna be finished....... like the mp_vikings_omaha by viking_weidle

well to give you an idea.

Ive been working on Ramelle for 9 months now, which i can tell you is one heck of a long time.

However i have been juggling year 12, some work and mapping all year now. If i could map allday without interuption Ramelle could be done in 1/2 months.

At the moment its 99.5% complete, but finding the time to compile with all the pretty options is a problem at the moment, and storms overnight dont help either =(

so as you can see it is a matter of time each day allowable for mapping how long a map will take to do. It also depends on how much of a perfectionist the mapper is, some people make maps...but others make masterpieces.

I have started my own first map , must say its difficult and I need 4-5 mounth in 4 hours I have created 1 hause! L()L

its good 2 hours 1 hause?

Once again Lord... it takes as long as it takes you.

If you can make a house you're happy with in an hour.. that's ok.
If it takes you 5 hours or even a day... that's ok too.
It's the result that counts, not the amount of time you put into it.
