Hi Guys,

Really lovin your show!

My question is regarding battlefield 2 editor.

I know you (foyleman) were building a new system and mentioned possible video tutorials for bf2. Are we likely to see these in the future? I have a suggestion for the tutorials if you do get the time to do them.

Maybe you could do a small series covering the functions of the editor with the outcome of a complete (basic) small map. Basically so we can see practical use of the functions/gameplay etc.

I have found a couple on the net so far but to be honest they are poor compared to the stuff you have put out!

Also wanted to ask if Mods online is a full time commitment for you. If not what else occupies your time?

Keep rockin [rocking]

somehow I managed to post in wrong place - sorry - if anyone can move this post to the questions post that'd be great!

I do want to find time to put the tutorials together. I haven't had a chance to open the editor since testing it on the new machine. Everything else has kept me too busy.

My first tutorials were going to cover exactly what the developer tutorials cover. This way I can provide a visual to what is there. Then later build on this.

You say you found a couple on the net. Are they videos? I would like to see the links.

Is this a full-time commitment. [lol] I wish I could dedicate my employment time to this. This site doesn't make any profit (negative actually) so there is no likelihood of that. But I do put put most of my free time into this website in one shape or form. Lately it's been modsonair that I concentrate on.

Other things that I do:
- I am a partner in a media company that does web development, 3D animation and modeling, and motion graphics. This is my full time job
- I am a partner in an accounting business where I do personal income tax 4 months out of the year.
- then my hobbies are this website and a local rock band

So you can see why I don't have that much time to get to the tutorials, although I really want to.

WOW u are a busy guy!

See you play in a rock band. I've played guitar for about 15 years. Not in a band currently though. I just started at University as a mature student doing a degree in Games design. May hook up with some music students and get something going. As I get into my studies I'm hoping to start writing my own tutorials as I develop my skills (I'm still beginnerlevel) then I can cotribute to your site and 3dBuzz more.

Tutorial links: Not many video tutorials but I've found a few.

No video tuts but a number of text which may be useful

Video Tutorials

Here

These I think are doing what U were planing but they aren't too good - check it out.
Here

Also Mnemic (u may already be aware of his previous tutorials) - probably the best so far.

Mnemic

Hope this helps you and the community
