And while it is great news in itself, I'm left wondering just how much we can achieve with the existing editor. I understand that in the game itself there'll be structures that react, e.g. walls that collapse under fire or when tanks roll into them. Do you think that these will be available in the new editor and if so, will they be special textures or will we need to script them?

Also, I'm slightly bummed cos I was going to take a month out of my current work to do a map. I've been getting muscle spasms in my wrist [insert obvious jokes!] and was hoping to give myself some time away from the mouse before I started. Guess I could still do that. Probably should....

I like the sound of that. Its makes gamings like cod more WW2 like for me :)

That's already possible (limited) in CoD. But it requires some scripting and not actually interacting with the enviroment.
