When is the modsonline BF3 server ever active?

BF3 is not a game to be played with strangers, especially when these strangers don't play the game properly which makes you don't play properly. Unless it's BF2, there's no need to play with friends b/c everyone plays how it's meant to play.

The server is always empty.

So can anyone tell me when the servers are filled with players? Any tournaments going on, etc? Would love to play with Modsonline community members, even admins...if they are willing to listen to tactical commands from me...despite the past....

I agree with you. I check out the server almost everyday, however it's tough to get more people in it. This weekend I didn't play much being ill. Otherwise I would possibly be playing on week nights (other then Monday) and weekends.

Shouldn't you be in charge of the server? I suggest setting a time to play and everyone can get on at that time. Like say Tuesday at 9pm EST or whatever. Then again people in different time zones... So whoever is in charge of the server can make some decisions as to how people will play on it.

And the server cost money right? If no one plays on it, money is wasted...just saying.

Or is it just me or a handful of modsonline members play BF3?

We are in charge of the server however we don't make it mandatory for people to show up. They can join and play if they want to. And while Skyrim, Batman and SWTOR beta was just out, some of us were a little busy.

As far as I know, those who play with any regularity are myself and Breesy. Paulstorm is often on his own clan server. I rarely see others I know playing with any regularity.

BF3 is getting a little boring now, might go back to BF2 until Back to Karkand comes out. It's not fun playing something that no one plays properly. And the maps are getting old. I miss the big maps. And teamwork. Anyways, if people show up when Back to Karkand comes out, I will be sure to join the server.

Speaking of Back to Karkand, seriously, how can PS3 get the pack first? "Thanks to our fans" my . The only real fans are the PC players. Can't believe we have to wait a week. Probably b/c of that BF 1943 incident. Don't make a promise you can't deliver DICE. Like BF3.

I'll probably get back into the game a little more when this expansion comes out...then again i still have assassins creed and skyrim to finish...and then star wars comes out...uh oh...

I have had to pull myself away from skyrim before it takes over my life.. Such an addictive game and as soon as the tools come out it can only get better.

Im finding the BF3 maps to get stale very fast, normally i don't find this. Take BFBC2, i must have played arica harbor a thousand times, or even v.cod, i played dawnville continuously. Also maybe it just me but rush just isn't working for me in BF3, and thats the only gametype i used to play, maybe it because i only target 64 player servers.

Funny.. I thought that about BFBC2. I was bored too fast. I'm more energized with BF3 and perhaps it's because I just didn't play much BC2.

I am with you on this one. I don't play enough of BC2 either and I was bored of it too. Sometimes it feels great but for the most part, it's eh.

I just can't stand the rush mode. BC2 still has that big map mentality but rush doesn't work so good of big maps. It doesn't make sense. I play it on BF3 and it makes more sense. OM stands out, not that crappy though.

For Conquest, I hated BC2's conquest. It felt like Rush. And I bought the Vietnam mod for some reason...it's ok. Next time, remind me that I shouldn't purchase any more DLCs for BC2 or any games I don't like that much.


Again, I find the players of BF3 lack teamwork. You can tell just by their dogtags. Some has no games, some has Mass Effect (how is this even relevant?!), and some has BC2. I didn't see a lot of BF2 dogtags. And everyone just focus on themselves. Either way, I am constantly struggling to play with teamwork. So I play run-and-gun. Unsurprisingly, it works. I mostly come in top 3 or top 10. Sometimes even first on my team. Just goes to show BF3 is not what it meant to be. Attracting new audience doesn't work b/c like DICE said, it promotes "play your way". It doesn't mean I don't play teamwork. Of course I do, how else would I get so much points. I admit I use the IRNV a lot....at times...don't see a reason to patch it though.

Oh well, heading back to BF2, feeling nostalgic anyways. Will get on B2K as soon it comes out and when my internet resets the usage, which is 1 day after B2K comes out. Ok maybe get on it a day after it comes out, lol. I heard the PS3 version sucks to hardcore fans. I will see for the PC version.

Other than BF3, I haven't tried skyrim yet....addictive? BF3 was addicted for a while. Anyways, I might get it. ACR is the number one choice for the holiday sales.
