Hi, i was wondering on what files i edit to get any FX working in my map, i followed a lot of tutorials, but none of them work, can i just have a simple tutorial that tells me what files to edit, what lines to put in them, i have used mr hanky to give me the stat .gsc/csc's so i just need to add lines to them :)

if you want to edit effects you need to open Effects Editor and open raw/fx/ folder and choose the effect to edit,

If you want effects in your map like smoke and such here is what i have from cod2 that will work for codwaw if it doesnt post the error we fix it, this is the most basic one just change effects origin just place node anything on map press N for entity and look at the origin and you use that origin co ordinates for script, and change name of effect that must be played its easy,

i mean what files i edit like - i mean by that, what lines to i add to "_fx.gsc or just .gsc or .csc or what ever files you need, because it isnt straight forward as cod2 as i take it :L
