D**N i have made a big mistake.

I have a big problem with "Radiant" when i try to open my
map.

Yes i know about the two fixes.

But i did the following.
In windows you can rightclick on a file and then use
the option "open with" so i browsed my tools directory and pointed to the radiant.exe.
Then i choosed open always with i selected that option.

But how can i change this?
How can i remove this from the list?
I deslected the option always open with but nothing
changes.

Any help appreciated.

lol - someone is trying to open a mapfile in wordpad...heh heh

you have a couple of options

you can right click the .map file --> open with --> choose program

or

you can open a folder, click tools --> folder options --> file types --> and remove the .map file type from the list (this will force it to ask for the opening program when you double click on the .map file) by removing te link you created to radiant

You can right click the .map file --> open with --> choose program.

This is what i did and select radiant to do this.
In the picture the radiant program is clearly visible.

it is called inferring - since what you should be opening a .map file with is radiant, and that very obviously works for you

there isn't any reason to not have it open with radiant, unless you want to explore the file with another program - like wordpad or notepad

there you have it - inferring in action - and no reason for you to get your back up

hope it got you sorted out - whatever you were trying to accomplish
