Is there a way to increase the kbytes/sec for players connecting to server? Would like it to be easier and faster for players to download maps.

Sorry for delay, just had to get a few answers sorted out.

To be quick.....'no'

From what I understand this is a set bandwidth determined by the game engine.

To remidy this I would recommend having an MOTD set up to pass on the info as to where to get the Map Files and DL them there as any downloading from the server adversly effects the game.

If your still wanting to do this then try play with your 2 cvars that control it:

set your sv_allowDownload to 1

set your sv_maxRate to (A rate you have to play with)

Isn't much help but there it is.
