Good evening, fellow mappers.
I'm in the process of making a map for cod1 which is the game of choice at our university. Having some experience in mapmaking for Q3 things are going quite smoothly, but a map is not complete without some custom props.

I am following this tutorial, but whenever i add my compiled model in radiant, the console says "loading model ...failed" which is not very helpful. I have made sure that it is located in main/xmodel and that the skin is in main/skins. I have copied xmodelsurfs and xmodelparts as well.
What am I missing?
The other tutorial mentions that textures be in .dds format, and the map be packed to .pk3, which i have not done; could this be the problem?
Is it something in radiant configuration? I'm lost.

If you have dealt with this kind of thing before, please leave a reply. It's probably something embarrassingly simple that i have overlooked, so sorry in advance :P

Problem solved. The paths in the project settings were screwed up. I should have known. Next time i won't rush to the forums this quickly ;).
