i am having trouble with walls i use my grid at 2 and set my walls at 8 thick but still can see players thur them can any one tell me whitch clip to use to stop that

I tried duplicating it here. I think maybe something is wrong with your map.
Start a new map and draw out a brush. Texture it and you'll see that no additional clips are required. Players should in no way be able to see through it.

Try copying everything from the map giving you the problem to the new. Save and compile.

sorry i didnt get back sooner but work its not that other players can see thur the walls it is if a player gets to close the bleed thur them and my walls are 8 units thick

Punctuation and spelling helps to understanding the problem. [duh]

Try using "clip_nosight", or perhaps think about making your walls thicker??

I had a similiar problem.

When I would put a wall on top of a floor, I would get light from outside bleeding in. To fix it, I had the wall and floor just meet at the edges. That fixed the problem.
I was also advised to try the "caulk shadow" but fixed it with the above solution before I tried that.
