there has been alot of questions lately - both in the forums, and to moderators and admin regarding paypal

Your paypal account is like a second bank account, which you link to your actual bank account

in most cases, you can sign up for a paypal account, link it to your bank account, verify your address and other information by a telephone call (automated) - or by regular snail mail (which is slower than this estimate) - and verify your bank account (posting the amount of 2 small random deposits INTO your account) within 5 banking days (depending on your banking access and how fast they move)

transferring monies from your bank account into your paypal account can take up to 9 days to clear (my last transfer took 5 days to show up)

when i signed up - a credit card was not needed (though they ask me for it as a way to verify payment...in other words they will extend the credit granted by a credit card company to my paypal account - in effect allowing me to spend more money from my paypal account than i have IN my paypal account...it also will lift some spending restrictions - amounts i believe)

signing up for an account IS free - and any further questions can be answered by their helpdesk or in the paypal FAQ (click the 'help' link on their site

Gday mate.. Well as you know I am having prolems to with Paypal.. I just even closed my acount and signed up again.. I did this on the australian site and worked out how to add a bank account.. But when I go to add funds the only option is..


Seeing that I dont have an american account I cant add a bank account to transfer money into account.. Any ideas

i to have been trying to use paypal as i said before my missus name changed coz we got married and now paypal dont wanna know pee-peeing me off coz i might lose my info here from my project

a couple of questions then for you madcrow:

have you successfully linked and verified your bank account?
(by verified i mean confirmed the 2 deposits that paypal puts into your account?)

if that is the case - have you just tried to send money or purchase something?
i want to point something out in your screenshot...
"you do not need to add funds to your paypal account to send money"

Gday all.. A update of paypal from Australia.. At present Paypal Aust does not add funds from your bank accounts.. To add funds you need a mastercard or VISA credit or debit card.. For those Aussies whom are with the Commonwealth Bank, they do not provide debt cards only credit cards.. So if you don't have a credit card then you can not add funds to pay with paypal.. only way to upgrade your account with Modsonline is to send a money order etc..

If you are finding the same problem and can't add funds from bank account then call your countries Paypal service to verify this information..

This is really becoming a pain.

To add funds to your PayPal account, you will need to go to your bank to complete a bank transfer from your bank account to your PayPal account.

When i created this account i already have give my bank
information.

When someone sends me money does this mean that this
money does not comes on my bank account, but in my
paypal account.

I have gone over the paypal options with alot of help from Stryder and decided that this is a limitation of paypal. So...

Please post me names and links of other payment solutions that you would be comfortable using that may help the situation. I will look into adding additional payment options to the subscriptions page.
