I guess we will not be getting radient to do any mapping for cod. I am willing to bet that cod will no longer see a radient release. It looks like the end of an era for this game.

I wasn't expecting much after the lack of tool from the last few games. If i was you and if your still interested in level design i would move to another game. Most 'AAA' titles don't seem to waste there money developing modtools now and instead throw it and console adverts to your better off looking to indie title. There is some great game with great support

Any place else I can use my Radiant knowledge? Im not sure an ole geezer like me can learn another mapping tool!

Open world games don't normally have mapping tools seeing as its just one map (sort of) RAGE is by id Software, running on the new id Tech 5 engine, and they have announced that mod tools are built into the game itself - no separate download or add-on. Before anyone starts jumping up and down, RAGE has no multiplayer to speak of as we know it, rather - like most id games like Doom 3 - it supports 4 player Coop which they call multiplayer. Also, it's Peer2Peer - no dedicated servers.
