Hello,

I created a few custom textures and I want them to not be affected by the light settings. I want the texture to look like it would if fullbright was on. How can I achieve this?

Thank you in advance.

Dunno if this is possible, but you can try the special surface properties in asset manager, which have to do with light (see attached picture)

Idk how to do it, but there are window glow textures, to simulate lights being on and they maintain a constant non-light-affected surface.

It is possible, so good luck!

@serthy Yep, I had already used "world phong"

@Sevenz I did mess around with those, but unfortunately I had no luck

@9837265498 What exactly do you mean?

It's not really a big problem though, thank you all :)

there is a special glow material, which is used in SP e.g. for C4 (it indicates, where to plant it).It look animated, but it's actually a material with special shader to make up this effect. Creating a custom shader for your purpose sounds very advanced to me, nonetheless it should be possible.

not really that important but here is what i was talking about.

Many of the Stock Windows also have _lit twins to simulate lights on within lod buildings at night. I was merely citing it as an example that you can have light-resistant surfaces (appear fullbright).

good luck

Solution:

chose materialType "world unlit" (or "model unlit" for model materials)
