I assume that it's fine to run raydiant & graydiant on the same pc at the same time from the same location.
could someone confirm this please before I mess up my files.
thanks :)

Hey morgawr,

Do you mean running 2 instances of graydiant, or one instance of cod1 radiant, and 1 instance of uo graydiant?

ive run 4 instances of uo graydiant before while making a map. Usually one is the map im working on, and the other ones are individual buildings I have made in their own file so I could see everything easily without making layers or filtering, but also fully detail and add in models.

As for running an instance of cod1 radiant and an instance of uo graydiant, I havent done that one yet.

That's like saying is it ok to run steam and xfire at the same time, if you pc can handle it, run as many as you need. [thumbs_up]

If, call of duty mapping tool is Radiant
and coduo mapping tool is gradiant,
then its fine to run them on the same installation of the game.
the question is, am I more likely to to get file errors, or is it going to run in a stable fashion.
I want to make my maps available to both cod & coduo, but not at the risk of having constant problems, resulting in reinstalling everything.

They should run in a stable fashion. So you don't have to worry about any really nasty errors resulting in a reinstall. Whatever you find in Radiant, you'll pretty much find in Graydiant anyway, and then some, so its almost like running the same program twice imo.
